• The first randomized controlled trial to assess the benefit of a video game-based digital intervention for improving cognition in patients with major depression.
• An MRI study that found for patients with treatment-resistant depression, brain response during the first rTMS session was predictive of the likelihood of getting better with a full rTMS course.
• The efficacy and mechanism of action of a dextromethorphan-bupropion combination for major depressive disorder.

The issue also features a priority data letter that challenges the notion of amygdala responsiveness to negative stimuli as a depression biomarker.
