MindGames, APA's national residency team competition, is a fun way for residents to test their knowledge on patient care, medical knowledge, and psychiatric history while earning bragging rights for their program.
A qualifying online exam will take place from mid-January until February 2025. Programs who wish to participate will choose three residents to form their program team. The selected residents must be APA members to qualify. The team will complete the timed online examination together – 125 multiple choice questions in 60 minutes. Questions will follow the ABPN Part 1 content outline. The top 10 teams are announced at the AADPRT meeting in March. The three highest scoring teams with the fastest posted time will advance to compete in the live national competition at APA’s Annual Meeting in May.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2025 MindGames competition in 2025 Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, May 17-21.
