Washington, D.C., — The American Psychiatric Association Foundation (APAF) has been named the winner of three Gold Telly Awards for an educational video promoting the foundation’s Notice. Talk. Act.® framework. The official award titles are Gold Telly for Social Video – Not for Profit, Gold Telly for Social Video – Social Impact, and Gold Telly for Social Video – Workplace Culture. The Telly Awards have been recognizing excellence in digital storytelling for over 15 years.

The award-winning video summarizes the APA Foundation’s Notice. Talk. Act.® community-focused approach to mental health advocacy. Awareness of the symptoms of mental illness, willingness to talk to colleagues or classmates about mental health, and knowledge of resources to share with them are crucial elements of normalizing and recovering from struggles with mental health. The Notice. Talk. Act.® at School program has been driving outcomes in education for over ten years and is currently used in over 220 school systems across the country.
