These grants give medical students opportunities to travel to APA Meetings (Annual Meeting and The Mental Health Services Conference), receive mentorship from psychiatrists and leaders in the field, and more.

Future Leaders in Psychiatry Program
APA's Future Leaders in Psychiatry Program (FLIPP) is designed to increase the number of underrepresented minorities (URM) medical school applicants interested in psychiatry, create a more equitable psychiatric workforce, and prepare future leaders to successfully enter the field of psychiatry.
Rising Psychiatry Scholars Program
The Rising Psychiatry Scholars Program (RPSP) provides essential resources such as pre-medical advising and mentoring to support participants in navigating entrance to a four-year institution, medical school, and beyond.
