November Issues of APA Journals Feature Research on Substance Use Disorders, Suicide Prevention, Peer-Run Approaches, and More

Washington, D.C. — The latest issues of three American Psychiatric Association journals, The American Journal of Psychiatry, Psychiatric Services, and Focus, are now available online.

The November issue of The American Journal of Psychiatry brings together research on substance use disorders. Highlights include:

  • Association of Neuromelanin-Sensitive MRI Signal with Lifetime Substance Use in Young Women (AJP Deputy Editor Danny Pine highlights the study in this video.)
  • Disparities in Treatment for Alcohol Use Disorder Among All of Us Participants
