The Frank J. Menolascino Award, established in 1997, recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to psychiatric services for persons with intellectual development disorders/development disabilities, through direct clinical services and/or dissemination of knowledge through teaching or research. The award was established in memory of Frank J. Menolascino, M.D., an authority on mental health among persons with intellectual development disorders and developmental disabilities.
