Be a Mentor for our APA/APAF Fellows

The APA Foundation (APAF) is seeking mentors to participate in the Mentorship Program for APA/APAF Fellows. As a prospective mentor, you can make a difference for Fellows in many ways, including:

  • Providing guidance and counsel as Fellows transition from Resident Fellow Member to ECP
  • Offering insight on navigating career, professional goals, and work/life balance
  • Seeking leadership opportunities at the local and national level
  • Promoting continued active involvement in the APA

The time commitment for the program is one year, with a minimum of four interactions with your selected mentee. Mentors will be provided guidelines for the program in order to make the most of their relationship with Fellows. Mentors and mentees are usually matched in the summer.
