Biography
Mansoor Malik, M.D., M.B.A., is a professor of psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University. He has previously served as a professor and residency program director at Howard University Hospital, nations premier HBCU institution. In this capacity, he trained and mentored hundreds of minority residents and medical students. His research focuses on healthcare workers’ burnout and wellbeing, especially developing peer support programs for healthcare workers. He has published over 50 peer reviewed articles, editorials and book chapters. He is board certified in adult, geriatric and psychosomatic psychiatry as well as in addiction medicine. He has served on the APA national membership committee and Council on Medical Education and Lifelong Learning as well as American College of Psychiatry PIPE editorial board. He previously served as the president of Washington Psychiatric Society. He earned his medical degree from Pakistan, with post-graduate training at Drexel University and Dartmouth College. He has received multiple teaching and service awards.
