APA SAMHSA MFP Spring Leadership Institute

The Spring Leadership Summit is an annual event organized by APA designed for resident fellows in late March. Our summit aims to develop culturally humble mental healthcare professionals who are well poised to become effective leaders and address the unique challenges faced by diverse, marginalized, and minoritized populations. This 3-day program will focus on teaching, advocacy, policy, research, and provide an opportunity to visit community behavioral health centers and visit federal agencies and public policy institutions. Every year has the potential to have different experiences for our cohort.
