La Salud Mental: Social Media Toolkit

  • September 30, 2024

La Salud Mental is APA's Spanish-language resource website offering evidence-based information on mental health and substance use disorders for Latino communities in the United States. The platform offers culturally relevant information about common mental health issues, treatments, and how to seek support. As part of our commitment to promoting mental health awareness in historically underserved populations, we encourage engagement through the hashtag #MenteSanaGenteSana, which emphasizes the importance of maintaining mental well-being in the Hispanic community.

Share this social media toolkit to help spread awareness of mental health challenges faced by the Hispanic/Latino community and promote access to resources and services. The toolkit provides sample posts, statistics, and content to encourage conversations around mental health. Follow our Healthy Minds accounts on Twitter/X (@APAHealthyMinds) and Facebook (APA Healthy Minds. Healthy Lives.) for more Spanish-language content focused on mental wellness and resources.

Together, we can build a supportive space where mental health is understood, valued, and prioritized!
